Book Review - "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"

Jonathan Livingston Seagull Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
Its a story of an "outcast" seagull whose passion of flight takes him to higher planes of life where he learns whatever he could learn of flying and then he returns to earth to teach other gulls and spread his knowledge.

Most seagulls don't bother to learn more than the simple tacts of flight. For them flying means - how to get from shore to food and back again. However not the same for a gull named Jonathan Livingston Seagull. For him, it was not eating that mattered, but flight. This book throws light on the significance of seeking a higher purpose in life, even if your flock considers your ambition useless. To pursue his ambitions, he is even exiled from his flock. By not compromising his ambitions, Jonathan reaches the higher plane of life. And he learns the meaning of love and kindness. And finally he returns and spread it around.

This book is a good spritual & inspiring one which will leave you spell bound with its philosophy.
