Book Review - "Many Lives Many Masters"

Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian L. Weiss

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
It’s a book about Dr Brian Weiss, a prominent psychiatrist and his Patient Catherine who came to the doctor for treatment of her anxieties and phobias. Dr Brian tries the traditional psychotherapies on her for 18 months which don’t work and finally he goes for regressive hypnosis. These regressive hypnosis sessions unfolds many other things which they both were not expecting. The initial hypnosis sessions unfurl her childhood era and let her remember the long-forgotten tragedies of hers during that time but these doesn’t heal her traumas. Further hypnosis sessions startle both of them when her sub conscious mind takes her to her past lives. Catherine remembered her 86 past lives in which each page of her distinct life changed with few winks of her eye. She not only narrates her past livings but also the time during her death in each of her lives and the trans-period between her death and her next new life. These discoveries leave our psychiatrist to transcend the life after death and believe in the theories of reincarnation. He discovers that there were some connections and a few common people in each of her lives. Most importantly he is able to communicate the Master souls and receive their messages through Catherine. He learns that a soul has to learn something in each of its lives and move to the next higher plane of life when it has learnt in its present life. The master souls accompanied her after her death in each of her life till she takes a new birth.

Each chapter in the book convoys the messages that our doctor learns from the master souls and each chapter is therefore worthwhile. The book unfolds the new meaning of life and a must read for those who are apprehensive towards “death”.

Good read..
